OPTIMAL PLOTS

Maximum heat pumping capacity and maximum temperature difference modes are two extremes that do not prove to be economic enough. The so-called Optimal Plots allow specifying main parameters of a TE cooler in the recommended mode, i.e. in the mode of optimal coefficient of performance (C.O.P.).

The following additional plots allow User to analyze TE module performance at optimal (maximum) value of performance coefficient.

Optimal C.O.P. versus temperature difference (C.O.P. vs DT)
This plot immediately suggests that the Peltier module should operate at the temperatures somewhere half-way between
DTmin and DTmax.

Optimal heat pumping capacity versus temperature difference (Qopt vs DT)
This plot shows that the most efficient TEC operation is within DT range where the peak is intercepted.

Optimal current and voltage versus temperature difference (Iopt and Uopt vs DT)
Should be applied to specify the recommended current value.

Optimal power input versus temperature difference (Wopt vs DT)
Should be applied to specify the recommended power and voltage value.
